JOHN READ
Co-Founder
John has worked in sport for 26 years, including as Director of Corporate Affairs, Media & Marketing for the England cricket team and a political consultant to the FA, RFU and Lawn Tennis Association. As Global Campaign Director for HRH Princess Haya of Jordan, he led a campaign across 126 countries, followed by a major sporting project throughout Africa.
A British national based between Johannesburg and London, John has built an extensive football network across England, Scotland, the UAE and Scandinavia. His connection with South Africa spans 34 years of living in and visiting the country. He also co-founded and owns the British Football Academy near Durban, helping talented 12–16-year-olds develop through high-performance training.
PETER COYLE
Co-Founder
Peter has been a solicitor for over 30 years and founded Coyle White Devine in 2005. He has helped represent hundreds of elite athletes across football, cricket, Formula 1, tennis and other sports. His legal work and high-profile clients have helped him build an extensive network of managers, players, academy directors and recruiters across British and European football, South Africa, the UAE and Thailand.
A FIFA-licensed football agent since November 2024, Peter currently represents 20 footballers in South Africa and the UK. He believes good representation goes well beyond contracts and transfers. Education, personal development and ‘whole life’ support are central to his approach, helping players prepare for success on the pitch and life beyond it. It’s football agency done differently.
